For the Crumble:
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup organic all-purpose flour
¾ cup organic oats
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup of chopped cranberries, fresh or frozen
3 cups diced apples
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except butter. Once combined add melted butter and mix until the ingredients are moist.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, apples, sugar and cinnamon.
Place the fruit mixture in an 8-inch pie plate or 9×9 cake tin. Top with the Oat Crumble. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
